    Cycle de conférence :

    • Pupillometry: a window on cognitive functions and a tool to diagnose and follow-up (neuro) pathologies

In this talk, I shall present the many faces of pupillary responses, driven by complex retinal, subcortical and cortical circuits, present the impact of the  »melanopsin revolution », summarize pupillary findings related to the dynamics of cognitive states, together with some weird findings. I’ll then turn toward explaining the interests of novel methods using pupillary responses to assess and follow-up a variety of pathological states (mostly, but not exclusively, related to retinal dysfunction). A practical session for demonstrating and discussing some of these methods will follow
